Ive looked at multiple forums for a solution to the problem along with going to different websites and youtube for help but so far i have not been able to find a solution. When ive tried using the programs they load the cut scene but then it gets to the loading screen and crashes every time but when i load the game from steam the game runs fine but still cant get it to capture. It was trying to change to a 16 bit graphics mode and failing. It was because wine wasnt working with my anchient graphics card (nvidia TNT2). Found the windowed option, turned it on and off and nothing changed. The cut scenes cause the program to crash on my system and I havnt been able to get them working, but I found out that it was crashing for a different reason after Id removed the folder cutscenes. It looks like the game just black screens. I found this to work in about 20 of cases. Youre going to have to pry open sshock2.cfg in the 'Game' folder to get it into windowed mode. I find my old binds reset them and try to start a game. ALT+ENTER (or CTRL+F): This works for some games and will force the game into windowed mode. Changing to high priority in task manager does nothing, restarting. Vsync on/off nothing, disabling gsync also does nothing. windowed mode, borderless mode, fullscreen all do nothing.
